after Germany’s Syrian-refugee rapefest on New Year’s Eve, the truth is coming home and its coming home hard: Muslim men rape. It’s their culture. Norway’s polite little “do not rape” talks will not change this culture. It is bred into the religion and the culture flowing from that religion. More than that, Mohammed made it quite clear that rape is an instrument of conquest and it is, indeed, a part of jihad. Consider it a Muslim man’s moral obligation to rape non-Muslim women (or, if he can get away with it, to rape Muslim women too, since the fact that he can rape them by definition means they must be bad Muslims). If you want a rape culture, don’t go to an American campus; go to any Muslim majority community that has contact with Western women.

I wish the republicans would say no to everything. Unfortunately, they pretty much rubber-stamp what he wants. That's the job of the opposing party, you know, to oppose. Checks and balances. So we don't have a dictatorship, though Obama has certainly come close with his 1000+ executive actions that should be illegal and are certainly unconstitutional.

The worst thing that ever happened to Barack Obama was having an overwhelming Democratic majority in Congress at his inauguration.
He had no experience working with a board of directors, a state legislature, or any sort of council to whom he had to report. Thus, when Congress rubber stamped anything he wanted and turned it into a giveaway program for political allies, Obama didn't learn the type of give and take in which a president needs to be adept. Nor did he learn to respect the opposing party and work with them. He simply snarked to them, "I won, get over it" and continued to give the Democrats in Congress everything they wanted.
Then, when the Dems lost that overwhelming majority and the Republicans put the brakes on their giveaway program, they howled, "Obstructionists!" And Obama sulked because he couldn't simply assign the writing of a bill to the Speaker of the House with the certainty that he would like what came across his desk to be signed.
Now, he would have to compromise with the opposing party. Or would he? He had discovered executive orders. Now, he could be a dictator again. And, what's more, he could avoid dealing with his own party and its fickleness on left-wing issues.
Had Obama faced a Republican Congress early on, he might have learned the art of politics and how to get things done that will last.
As it is, the next Republican president is going to void almost all of his executive orders and agency regulations, sign repeals of all those Democrat-only laws, and dismantle his "legacy." That, by the way, is why you work with the opposing party. So the laws you enact have supporters long after you're gone.
Just look at Social Security, passed by a bipartisan Congress. Eisenhower wanted to dismantle it, but that would have meant taking on his own party and he balked at that.
Just look at the Civil Rights Bill of 1964, passed only because 2 Republican senators and 2 Democratic senators put together a compromise bill that bypassed the committee in which the original bill was languishing, trapped there by a Southern Democratic committee chair. Since Republicans and Democrats passed it by a secure margin, it was safely ensconced in law, outlasting many who wanted to see it repealed.
Obama's laws don't have that protection and will be repealed shortly after he leaves office.
His legacy of avoiding and nullifying Congress, however, is of real concern since both parties will use and abuse that. That's his real legacy, and it's not a good one.

On a side note, they just stopped using hair dye. Here's a pic of Bush Jr.
It's interesting because Obama actually only got a small percentage of what he wanted when the Democrats had that overwhelming majority in Congress. Part of that was because his desires were so grandiose, and part of it was his inability to set priorities. But yeah, part of it was the fact that some of the worst squabbling you'll ever see between people occurs when a group of people hits a jackpot that would make them all millionaires if they just divided it evenly. Obama just assumed that the entire jackpot would be his to distribute as he wished; he took no care to find out what Democrats in Congress wanted, and as a result most of his ideas died the death of a thousand cuts, without any Republican involvement at all. Remember, Obamacare only passed because of the last-minute "Louisiana Purchase" and "Cornhusker Kickback", bribes that were put into the bill for the states of Louisiana and Nebraska so their representatives would vote for the bill. That's what Obama had to do because he ignored their desires earlier in the negotiating process.

I guess I based it on his first two years where the Democrats had full control and still he couldn't get anything done.
That's because he assigned the actual work of writing legislation to Nancy and Harry, particularly with respect to health insurance. And that ground things to a halt, since his party members demanded a cut of the vig.
Had he been the actual genius he was portrayed as, he would have walked into the job with a stack of legislation already written, which then could be introduced into the appropriate chamber's process. Instead of wasting a boatload of time tinkering with health insurance, they could have been passing set piece bills one after another.
So, I'm thankful he was too impractical to make that a reality.

I saw that Ars article too. It looked like another example of confirmation bias to me. Ars has a strong 'girls are discriminated against' philosophy so any report that enhances that position they echo. Things that don't support their opinion get ignored. That said, I don't have a problem with anonymized grading. Provided it isn't too difficult or expensive to implement. I don't think anyone is unaware that some teachers give better grades to people they like irrespective of the quality of the work.
On Obama, being president ages you. Some more than others. And, yeah, no longer dying your hair really ages you.
As for the O fighting with his own party, they only fought back when it was clear they would lose their jobs if they gave him what he wanted. And even then they sometimes voted with him. Look at the democrat party of today. Their politicians are older and fewer. The same demographic movement you see in the presidential primaries you see in legislatures all over the US. Democrats who weren't in very safe districts haven't survived. Part of Obama's legacy is the destruction of young Democrat politicians.

Oh, the horrors of being a Muslim at a Trump rally. In Nevada no less, populated by western hillbillies:
Kaddie Abdul, “an IT data engineer working in Silicon Valley,” decided to drive four hours to a Trump rally in Nevada to show how racist “those people” are. She wore her Muslim garb, held her Koran, and waited for someone to attack her. No one did. A few people gave her an odd look, but nary a nibble.
Darn it.
Apparently the Guardian in Britain had paid for her gasoline, so she had to write something, so she wrote: “I went to a Trump rally in my hijab. His supporters aren’t just racist caricatures.”
Don Surber further observes:
what she did was not dangerous. Going outside without a male escort in Saudi Arabia is dangerous for a woman. The only physical danger in driving to Nevada to troll Trumpkins was the drive itself -- something she will not be able to do when she makes her pilgrimage to Mecca.
Trump supporters did not gang rape her because she was Muslim. They did not beat her because she was Muslim. They did not to a damned thing to her -- and she should have known they would not. There are no thugs or bullies at these rallies. They are a fiction, just like the fiction that the Tea Party was racist.

"Part of Obama's legacy is the destruction of young Democrat politicians."
This. The next generation of the Democratic Party has been decimated by the Obama regime. By demanding down-the-line bloc voting on every issue, the Democratic leadership forced the young guns to vote for issues that they knew would be unpopular in their districts, with predictable results in subsequent elections. Now the party is aging out, and their best long-term hope, quite frankly, is to convince moderate Republicans to cross the aisle. All because it was more important for Obama to be able to say "I won" than it was to work for the party's future.
