Amy, that's the most honest thing I have read about the job market. Thanks.

Well, I had a lady from the DWP here to light my pilot lights, and she nearly destroyed my stove -- or rather, my landlord's stove. She couldn't get the top back on after she lit the pilot lights. I couldn't help but think they should have sent a man for a man's job.
So, I just had someone call me an asshole and block me on facebook for suggesting they stop coming to my state to get drunk and party on golf courses that waste billions of a gallons of water every year trying to make the American Southwest look like Scottland, (but only if you look at your feet and ignore the oppressive heat and blinding sunlight) and destroy the natural flora and fauna within a few miles of THEIR home if they want to get drunk and watch people play golf
Probably becuase I told the guy who called me an asshole to take the dicks out of his face and re read what I wrote to highlight how my pointing out their drunken contribution wasting million of gallons of water in the fucking desert made me an asshole
Even professional engineers have problems with the Maths. Tho I suspect there are probably a few photoshops in that collection.
Tho I do remember a story my pap told me, about mine engineers who drafted a new tunnel from one point to another, and them being off by 8 feet when the two sides met.
Somehow while typing a comment I created this photo and it inserted itself onto the end of the comment I was typing, it also took my comment on the thread as a comment on itself,
Yet when I search for this photo in my photos is doesnt appear in any of my albums
I have no idea how I did this, or where it it being stored

Oh my gosh, Bob in Texas, that link speaks to me waay to much. I was a private hoarder for Y2K and stockpiled Tamiflu and N95 masks when the bird flu hysteria was going around. Now at least I feel validated in my prepping tendencies.

I expect a surge in pregnancies if the government starts the mandatory drafting:

It's easy to pick up one extra item every time you shop. A few days of water/food/toilet paper is a good thing.

Maybe the teacher is using inclusiveness as a way of projecting:

Tree trimmers do need to be trained/licensed as even professionals become crispy critters due to contact w/power lines.
Why? all they really need is to be bonded and insured. So when they contact power lines, or drop a tree on my house, everyone's covered.
Bringing down a tree isn't hard. Being licensed doesn't mean that they'll use their head for something other than a support of the hard hat.

Licensed, insured, and holders of commercial drivers licenses find math, physics difficult to comprehend:

but sadly for them, Math and Physics are harsh mistresses. So is that bridge in Durham, NC.

How long were the tunnels?
