Saudi Arabia is a weird case. On the one hand, they are pretty much the reason that Wahabbism exists -- they started it, they funded it, they recruited people to it and proselytized the philosophy. As such, they are directly or indirectly responsible for the bulk of today's Islamist violence. On the other hand, there is a faction there that is clearly worried about the stability of the region, plus they see oil revenues starting to dry up. That faction has actually made some overtures to Israel about forming a coalition to establish a semblance of order in the region. It wouldn't surprise me to find out that they are working on the down-low with Israeli intelligence.

Exactly. So why, in the 2004 movie "Troy" does Achilles' mother Thetis look any older than her mortal son? It's a silly enough movie anyway - getting an actress born even LATER than Brad Pitt wouldn't have made it any sillier. (Besides, he was already about 40 at the time - no goddess would look as old as that!)
