What I find amusing is that the company is making all of the politically correct noises -- "it has nothing to do with California, we just need a more central location", "it'll be easier for us to test-market in Nashville where we have corporate owned stores", etc. But everyone knows the real reason.

Security theater, Belgian style:

Much of counterterrorism is really security theater. TSA searches that have yet to stop a terrorist. Bombing raids that don't drop bombs. Soldiers standing with rifles that have no bullets in them. It looks impressive. But there's no substance behind it.
