Anybody want to defend TSA in the face of this?
The reason there isn't a bomb on a US plane can be only one of these:
• No one is trying
• An agent other than TSA is stopping the suspects
Obviously, the sort of activity going on in this article points out real avenues of attack that are not being used.
"The best advice to passengers is the most obvious. When flight attendants tell you to check your seatback and collect all your items before leaving the plane, do it. Because in a matter of seconds, that iPad you left behind might already be gone."
No one really cares about the passengers. They are cargo - a load to be delivered.

Is it really stealing if you left it?

Absolutely right on TSA, Rad.
And luj, people don't leave stuff because they want to get rid of it but because they were, say, exhausted and forgot it. This is why airlines have a policy that they're supposed to report it -- which any decent person would do, same as if they found a lost wallet.
