On another thread Conan saod One of Jesus' most radical parables was the Good Samaritan. Ancient Judaism had the same believer vs. non-believer mentality of current Islam (maybe it's the desert air). The idea that a Samaritan, an outsider and non-Jew, could be a good person was revolutionary thinking for that era.
