Wouldn't it be great if Southwest Airlines' Wifi worked? That kind you pay extra for, I mean? Wouldn't that just be face-meltingly gratifying? Wouldn't it be great if, instead of receiving a sincere and polite by meatless apology from a flight attendant who has better things to worry about (again), they could just fix the freaking WiFi? ...After it has already failed on that selfsame flight for your previous three bookings as well as the current one?
And on those occasions when they can't, wouldn't it be great if you could have those hours back, the ones spent looking up at the breeze-nipple in boredom for four loops of the Big Hand instead of writing up the personal emails and trip reports which were so freshly dancing through your heart when you thought you were going to have a productive session in an especially uncomfortable chair?
Yes, Southwest Airlines, it would certainly be a grant thing if the WiFi worked, specially when people pay extra for it.
A great thing, not a grant thing. Thing is, you will grant me that it would be a great thing if the WiFi worked on Southwest Airlines, right? Sure.
And now, thoughts for Cousin Dave, who can't get to Zerohedge at work. (1.) Have you tried putting https: on your first link or URL to the page? (2.) Can you run Tor portable? (Probably not, IT departments get pissy about it.) (3.) Consider running Teamviewer (there's a portable version) on your work machine to access a cheap/shabby laptop on your home router for web browsing at work. A suitable used laptop for such mild work would probably cost $150.
1. Is Trump getting a lot of his support from white supremacist organizations?
No, because there are not enough organized white supremacists to make up “a lot” of anyone’s support.
This guy has written some neat stuff. Consider this: In retrospect, it seems to have predicted last week's stunner.

Ha ha.
...Avakian turned his sights to higher office. In last week’s general election, he ran for Oregon secretary of state. But in an upset, Dennis Richardson, a former state representative and gubernatorial candidate, trounced Avakian. Richardson will become the first Republican to win an Oregon statewide office in 14 years, and the first Republican secretary of state since 1985.
What time is it in Moscow? I wonder if Snowden's heard about this yet.

Great job! I particularly like leaving the stove on. Bravo!
Veteran suffering from PTSD calls suicide hotline, admits to gun ownership, but repeatedly explains he doesn’t have a weapon at the ready. His interlocutor calls D.C. police anyway, who send in SWAT. He surrenders. Police search his home, see nothing concerning in plain view. Hours later, they re-enter, rip the place apart — and (allegedly) leave the stove on and the front door unlocked for two weeks while he’s in jail. D.C. Circuit: The second search violated the Fourth Amendment.
And another. Not sure who wrote the head line and subheader. What the author fails to consider is that Trump did better with minorities than Romney or McCain.
There’s No Such Thing as a Good Trump Voter
People voted for a racist who promised racist outcomes. They don’t deserve your empathy.
"Wouldn't it be great if Southwest Airlines' Wifi worked? "
I can assure you that Delta's isn't any better. The cost went up recently and I decided to drop my subscription.
And I'll look into the Teamviewer thing. The home part shouldn't be a problem, but the work part I'll have to check on. They keep our laptops locked up tight, and they won't accept most non-DoD certs, which makes using https connections outside of government domains problematic.

If you can hear Keith Olbermann's voice, you might be part of the resistance.
So Stockholm apparently decided that, since sidewalks and bike paths are more "female" than roads are, when it snows, the "female" routes deserve to be taken care of first. (How quaint! How traditionally feminine!) The results were predicatable.
