I've seen this dynamic in action; here's some of what it means at a major corporation:
1. Incompetent people are able to "D&I" their way up the ladder based solely on their professed values.
2. Any manager who makes a D&I error is toast. The way to get ahead is to survive, while those around you take themselves out of the game through political errors.
3. Human Resources has a seat at the table for every decision, including operating issues about which they know jack. This results in missed opportunities, costly sloth, and horrific blunders.
4. Your boss may be incompetent. If said boss is a member of a protected group, they will be there forever. Your real job is to perform well enough to make it possible for the company to keep your boss in their position. The stronger the personnel in the department, the less capable the boss can be. It's the solid groups of veterans than need to worry the most... they know they can come in one morning to find a 25-year-old "diverse person" parachuted into the corner office by powerful, protective mentors.
5. Only big corporations with deep pockets a valuable brand, and a protected niche can afford policies like D&I. A smaller concern would go bankrupt.
6. Relationships, not competence, are the currency of the realm. Bloat and waste are everywhere.
7. A Diverse Person who is also good-looking will be on a rocket-ride up the ladder.
8. Designated Diverse Persons are moved around the company, from one stellar victory to the next. Even the absolute worst of them are safe... the corporation eventually moves these into Human Resources.
That's enough. I could go on forever about this.

Yep, which is why the big corporations favor it being government policy. Use the government to suppress competition. These days, the top execs and board members of said large companies are also usually cronies, which makes it easier to use government as their lever. More non-productive regulations = fewer pesky start-up competitors.
The measures stated that people who had HIV AIDS and other infectious diseases should be put in a plastic bag labelled with their status and put in an ambulance separate to anyone else, including health professionals.
It went on to state that if the bodies were not covered by concrete, then they must be buried in a tomb at least ten metres from all other bodies.
"But you’re scared right now! Well, that’s too bad. Because for the most part Democrats have tried to make it so that citizens have to abdicate their responsibilities and instead entrust that only the state can defend everyone… That doesn’t seem like such a bright idea now that you don’t trust who is running the state, huh?"
It's cold out tonight, so...

Read about "Diversity and Inclusion" at Kellogg. To save time they've even got a short form -- D&I.

Until you destroy that brand. Just ask Norwest about destroying the Wells Fargo brand through incompetence and greed.

Too bad the Democrats weaponized the federal government, and now that power is going to be handed over to Darth Trump.

I admire this deliciousness...
