The internet is a big place, and you can read an article and, the very next day, not remember where you saw it. This happened to me. I need you to help me find something.

Yesterday someone wrote a piece about the Golden Globes saying that—

• Donald Trump already has a short but sturdy list of film credits... Shitty movies, but they're not low-budget or arty things. He's as much a part of the Hollywood machine as many of the people at that awards ceremony on Sunday.
  
  
• He's dishonest and petty and vain and cheats his partners.... He's exactly the like most of the people who Hollywood stars work with. They hate him because the recognize him so readily.

Some time ago, I posted a video by MTV which was their list of New Year's Resolutions for white guys.

The backlash was swift and fierce. Very few, even among non-white YouTubers, were amused. The downvoting and negative comments were so rife, MTV tried to purge the negative votes and comments by taking down the video and reposting it.

And the same happened when they reposted it, so MTV took it down and hasn't put it back up. And unfortunately, it was taken down before some of the bloggers here got to see it.

Thankfully, some YouTubers didn't think MTV should just be allowed to walk away from their mistake and forget it ever happened, and reposted it.

So, here is another YouTuber's reposting of MTV's smug, condescending and insulting New Year's Resolutions for white guys.

Patrick, I read the Zatat piece. It's a cruel assessment of Gosling's speech that she uses as a wedge to get her complaint on the table. I could use it as the rationale underpinning her claim that out of "1206 movies 60 to 90 percent of the dialogue was delivered by men."
But instead, here's one example in the piece she links to: "Even romantic comedies have dialogue that is, on average, 58% male."
Of course. How could you woo a woman without talking to her?
I know people like Zatat are trying to make sense of the world, and some good may come of it.

TBH, I sort of feel bad for Lin. As the adage goes, when the facts on your side, pound on the facts. When the law is on your side, pound on the law. When the facts and the law are against you, pound on the table.

Trott: You mean to tell us due process is consistent with a government official submitting perjured testimony and false evidence? How is that consistent? I mean I hate to get pumped up about this but I'm just staggered by the claim that people in the shoes of your clients wouldn't be on notice that you can't use perjury and false evidence to take away somebody's children. That to me is mind boggling.
