The latest New Swedish Idea for evening out the old work-life balance: Doink breaks.
Per the article, "After the Finns and the French, Swedish full-time employees worked the least in Europe with only 1,685 hours on average in 2015, according to a study by economic research institute Coe-Rexecode."
I don't know if the new proposal, from a councillor in a town that probably can't be pronounced in English, will increase productivity or not.

"Why do people think it's okay to call babies he or she? They can't speak yet so they can't say their preferred gender."
Bob, life is hard. It's even harder when you're stupid.
Speaking of which,, it is looking not so sunny in Philly and their sugary soft drink tax:
Now, only two months into the new tax, Philadelphia supermarkets and distributors are reporting “a 30 percent to 50 percent drop in beverage sales.” according to the Inquirer.
...
Obviously, without sales, companies must reduce costs and one of the biggest costs to beverage companies is their payroll.
As a result of the reduction in beverage sales, workers are getting laid off.
Backers say the uncertainty surrounding Trump’s promise to repeal Obamacare presents California with a chance to rethink how healthcare is delivered to its 39 million residents.
“Why wouldn’t we take this as an opportunity to create what we want in California?” Dr. Mitch Katz, head of L.A. County’s health department, said at a conference in December. He mentioned a single-payer system as a possible solution.
An old man made and old mistake on an old TV show.

If doinking ain't worth making time for, don't bother. It's like free college: If it ain't worth saving up and making sacrifices for, you won't learn anything.

That's not even the worst of it. This idea can't have been thought through. Can you imagine the unintended consequences? Will the unpartnered demand the firm (or whomever) provide them friends to spend their hours with? Will some folks, unwilling to go out, insist on ordering in? Will yet others, uninterested in carnal pleasures, just sneak out for a smoke?
The mind reels, I tells ya!

Guess the cult. Using goo.gl to not give away the answer.
"... cult,” characterized by “inventing false facts that don’t stand up to scrutiny, claiming that science is hateful toward your beliefs, claiming to be persecuted when you can’t force your beliefs on other people, and attempts to silence and destroy non-believers..."

How about that? A win-win for weight loss. Fewer soda sales and some people won't have enough money for food. That's how to manage a population.

Is it the dreadlocks?
Because I'm thinking they're not the problem by themselves.
