Conversation with an engineer about the Oroville dam. Well worth the 47 minute listen. Includes useful background information about dams and their general condition nationwide.
Remember the story of the Muslim student at UofM who claimed she was threatened with being set on fire for wearing hijab? It was covered here at the time.
Based on my experiences with the WCSD and WCPO, if they say it most-likely did not happen, it absolutely, positively, 100%-for-certain, stone-cold-for-sure did not happen. It's more likely that a pink hippopotamus strolled down Liberty Street and then took a dump in one of the planters in front of Hill Auditorium, than that this incident occurred, or anything like it.
Naturally, the student alleging this incident faces no charges or sanctions whatsoever.
As Thomas Sowell says, there are no ideal solutions, only tradeoffs. Trump brings an array of obvious and problematic issues with him to the presidency that may one day make his presidency untenable for Republicans. The Resistance, though, offers them absolutely nothing.

It's a shame that there are no closer countries to these refugees than the USA or Canada.
Oh wait. There are! Maybe if Pelosi calls them and tells them of this problem they will get involved.
Or one of the actors/actresses could go to these countries and throw a benefit to enlighten them.

Don't those Somalians know that the US is a racist, homophobic, transphobic, and xenophobic nation? I can't imagine why they'd want to live in such a place.
5. It’s sad to see so many girls wasting their lives on study and work
(the implication here is that even women who are HAPPY that way should not be happy)
6. It’s good to have a big family
(Oh? Always?)
9. Being a mother is the most important job for a girl
10. A girl needs to start her family as soon as possible
(as in, before she can finish college or trade school, assuming she can afford either one?)
Reminds me of what I said in 2014: I suspect that men's rights' activists are more leery of childfree women than they want to admit, since their existence undermines the old idea that "every woman wants a baby" and that that desire is a woman's Achilles heel, plus the fact that CF women generally don't want to be housewives, so they also don't fit the stereotype of women as golddiggers. Or women who have to look up to their husbands all the time.
America's spies anonymously took down Michael Flynn. That is deeply worrying, says Damon Linker: http://bit.ly/2le0hCf

Never happened, say the prosecutor and the FBI.
