BTW, I saw on the news today that the Trump administration will stop paying for legal support for illegal migrants, and has pulled Obama's initiative that used federal muscle to force transgender bathrooms into elementary schools, highschools, and other institutions nationwide.

I've found cooking to be a much better indicator. I don't really care if a woman can make a cordon bleu or not. But everyone eats. Making food is a basic survival skill for both genders. So if the PBnJ is pushing the limits of your culinary skills that is a cultural marker. It shows you are intentionally not getting those skills. OK, so using apostrophes with long numbers apparently IS done in some countries. Before now, the only substitute for commas I had seen was the period. (In Spain, IIRC.)
