Dogs also like to sit on your feet on the same theory. At a coffee shop recently I was petting a Great Pyrenees/mastiff cross that was the size of a Shetland pony and his paws pretty much covered my feet.

Have you ever seen that episode of Dog Whisperer where Cesar deals with a pack of neurotic Chinese Crested dogs? I'm always amazed at what behavior bad dog owners can foster from breeds that are usually pretty chill---I remember he had to deal with a pack of violent pugs too. If you know pugs you know they never fight.

Also, those people seem to have no business having so many dogs, since they had zero control over them.

My dog is not allowed to make noise. She's trained not to. She'll bark if she perceives danger, but she knows it is generally not allowed. ("No noise!")

Violent pugs? I had no idea there was such a thing.

And the breeders we got Aida from have a bunch of dogs there, but they are the antithesis of the crazy, shrieking dogs in that video. Tim, the dad, told me that if Aida behaves badly, it isn't that she is wrong or bad; it's that I haven't done my part to control her behavior or set boundaries. I like that thinking -- it helped me do the right thing in training her.
