I find pretty weird - to say the least - that Steyn makes no mention of possible mental illness.

"Unprecedented" stockpile of guns/ammo?? My not-far-off neighbors shot probably 20k in ammo a few weekends ago. Sounded like WW3 for 8 hours. They even own/shot a tank. A lot. Machine guns, for hours. Im not a gun nut and we have probably 10k in weapons, and we are not rich. I think Steyn has never been to Texas, or.....anywhere between the coasts.

I've tried playing drums a bit. I can keep a basic beat, but I get lost in all the appendages: this hand is doing this, that hand is doing that, this foot is doing this, that foot is doing that. And everything about how a hi-hat works seems backwards to me.

This is Spinal Tap and Def Leppard kinda turned me off to drums. Freak gardening accidents, spontaneous human combustion, and more. Why take the risk?
