In the hard sciences it isn't peer review that matters but replication. If I can't read your paper and get the same results following what you have written then your paper is crap. Maybe you didn't write everything down. (many people do this on purpose) Maybe your results are wrong. But if your results aren't replicable then your work is crap. Having 'peers' who like your work is irrelevant.
