"If you're incredulous as to how the careful generation can be so naïve, the first question that needs asking is, have you ever spoken to a Millennial? If you can get past the robotic repetition of 'like' and 'you know,' you'll discover a not so subtle mind filled with banal platitudes about equality and diversity. Millennials are by and large liberal with socialist tendencies. They can quote Harry Potter more than Scripture. The education they've received was not so much an education, but rather a sterile, rubberized version of pedagogy."

Heh:
I've mentioned the controversies in this school district before. Archprogressive Samantha Bee's husband Jason Jones -- also a one-time Daily Show "correspondent" -- was one of the most outspoken opponents of the plan to bring some diversity to their Alt-White neighborhood school.
The plan was to switch some schools around in order to change the demographics of this rich white school (which is over three-quarters white or Asian, and in which only 13% of students are poor enough to receive federal lunch vouchers).
The new school, to which their rich white kids would be sent, was somewhat close to a housing project.
Egads! Actually mixing with poor minorities, instead of just gassing about how you'd be hypoethetically open to the theoretical possibility of it!
Think back to that awkward college encounter and start worrying. At what point do we say something happened too far in the past for accurate recollection today?
I'm curious, given she violated the terms of her civil settlement doesn't that mean she has to return the 3.4 million Cosby paid her in 2006?
Also is anyone else sick of the 'I knew I would not be believed which is why I waited until there was no physical evidence to support an accusation' defense?

Yep.
It was wrong when Anita Hill did it to Clarence Thomas. It was wrong when Paula Jones did it to Bill Clinton. And it's wrong now.
Even if you won't be believed, make the accusation. That way, when you're better able to again make the accusation later, we can believe it's not opportunism.
The problem this time is it worked in a court of law and the accused is going to spend the rest of his life in prison. Maybe something did happen, but can we be all that certain enough of guilt using testimony based on a recollection a decade later? And this case was based entirely on testimony, not evidence.
The incident in question took place in 2004, 14 years ago. She sued him in 2005 and his testimony in that trial was used to convict him in this one.
Add to that a newly-elected district attorney trying to make his bones, using the fact that his opponent did not file charges against Cosby as an election issue and then filing charge within weeks after being elected.
So apparently now there are groups of men who think that because they’re losers who can’t get laid, they should commit violence against random women. This is at least the third time in the last decade something like this has happened. There was the guy who shot up the dance class at the gym, then the spoiled shit w/the BMW in California, and now this one.

Par for the course. We seem to have devolved to the point that even minor personal grievances must be played out against the tapestry of society at large.
Like toddlers who must disrupt everyone's peace with loud protestations of their own discomfort, adults today cannot suffer in silence.

Wait, there was a beagle who predicted this just two months ago (and was duly mocked for same) -
Sometimes I wonder if these late night show hosts are pulling a white Uncle Tom -Harriet Beecher Stowe's hero of the novel, not the racially charged slur-
What do you mean, the talk show hosts are sacrificing themselves to save their family and proclaiming their souls belong to God and dying brutally in a Christ-like manner?
