Israeli Supreme Court: Israel-Based Users Can Sue Facebook Within Israel
“The court ruled that allowing multinational corporations to determine jurisdiction in cases involving customers posed a serious imbalance of power, regardless of the text of user agreements.”

‘How can they walk away with millions and leave workers with zero?’: Toys R Us workers say they deserve severance
Toys R Us isn’t paying severance to its 30,000 workers who will lose their jobs as the retailer shuts down, even though it doled out millions in executive bonuses a week before it filed for bankruptcy.

‘How can they walk away with millions and leave workers with zero?’:
Partially because of basic math.
millions lets say 3 mill. divided to 30,000 employees. works out to $100 per person.
Pelosi calls thousands crumbs so this would be even less.
That's the way of big businesses with lots of employees, make 1 cent an hour off each worker works out to $600,000 yr. when you have 30,000 employees. 1 cent an hour or about $20 yr.

I'm in a twitter war with David Limbaugh, whom I mistook for Rush's brother. It's not that David Limbaugh.
He seems to think Trump broke this law in calling for the termination of Samantha Bee.
It sounded somewhat doubtful to me, so I asked two lawyers who are Facebook friends of mine. They both said no, this law does not apply to Trump...at least not yet.
One said that unless he did this with an official act, he can call for anyone's termination. Also, this was pursued with the NFL, and it went nowhere.

Yonder.

If Samantha Bee dealt in government contracts or otherwise could be considered a government worker, subcontractor, or some such then he might have an argument. But while Trump is the president he is also a citizen and can say all kinds of crazy stuff without it being official US policy.

Moar, but that's not a particularly flattering picture... She was really attractive.
She married Jarvik. I bet after sex, they probably just laid there and though smart things.

I don't know if you can access this -

- but one thing in it that caught my eye was something that can't be repeated often enough; it is highly irresponsible to dismiss violent criminals simply as "monsters," since when we do that, we're abdicating our responsibility to figure out how to prevent their existence in the first place. Even "bad seeds" can be trained - and medicated, if necessary - to become law-abiding citizens. IF adults start when the kids are very young. No one ever said that it's easy, say, for outsiders to intervene in a violent household, but it has to be done for the common good.

"Partially because of basic math."
From Carl's Jr/Hardees CEO Andy Puzder:
“For example, Apple did $39.5 billion in business last year, and only has 97,000 employees. So they made about $407,000 dollars per employee, which gives you a lot of latitude to increase wages, if you want to do so.
In the retail segment, if you take all 22 retailers on the Fortune 500 and add them together, they did about $34 billion in business last year, and … made about $6,300 dollars per employee.
Now if you give a minimum wage employee an increase to $12 dollars an hour, rather than making $6,300 dollars an hour on employees, you lose about $1,100. If you give them a raise to $15 dollars, you lose about $6,000 dollars per employee.”
That should give you some appreciation of what the number of employees does to corporate income - as if it was our business. Corporations must operate by their charter, and it is the board's business what they pay executives, not ours.

About the Monte thing...
Try to describe the game clearly, and you discard an awful lot of arguing and statistical this or that which isn't addressed anywhere:
"Choose one of three boxes where the host will ALWAYS discard one of the two losers. The third box will never be part of the result because of this action."
