Ode To A Travel Mug: My Adult Sippy Cup And Productivity Enhancer
In my experience, Soviet Jewish emigrés to America have pretty good sense of what's worthwhile to spend money on.
Among these sensibles is @Karol Marcowicz, a writer I follow on Twitter who CHANGED MY LIFE -- and especially my writing life -- with her praise for the Contigo stainless-steel travel mug. (Only $11.99 with Amazon's discount.)
My coffee used to get cold and gross in the middle of my writing jags. Now, as I joke, it'll stay warm for the archeologists to find.
To be a little more specific, per the Amazon writeup: "Double-wall vacuum-insulated stainless steel keeps beverages hot for 6 hours or cold for 12 hours; 100% BPA Free."
Because I don't have to stop writing to refresh my coffee, I stay on point and get much more work done.
Also, hot coffee with hot foamed milk is delicious.
I wanted to get Karol my new "science-help" book, "Unf*ckology: A Field Guide to Living with Guts and Confidence," to thank her for this life-changing advice, but she'd already (yay!) bought it.
But if you haven't bought a copy, I hope you will. And if you have, and if you liked it, if you will kindly post even a wee review...that really, really helps the author!

Contigo products are very good.
I prefer their auto seal West Loop or Randolph travel mugs since I don't like having to unsnap a lid to drink. Just a squeeze on the button and I'm drinking my coffee.

Costco often has the Contigo mugs for sale in 2- or 3-packs, very reasonable.
