The Syndergaard/Collins/Hallion clip is the most dramatic piece of video from the last ten years. I can't watch it all the way through without literally weeping in admiration of everyone involved.
The funny thing is, though, none of this is really new. Everyone seems to have forgotten about the automat.

They aren't the only ones.
What I find amusing is that not only does it eliminate one or more positions, but it also tends to induce the customer to add other options to their order.
Money making options. Of course, now that you can order from the vendor's smart phone app as well as pay for it, means you can order 5 minutes out and by the time you arrive it'll be ready. Give you a QR code on your phone, go to a pickup kiosk and scan the QR code and out comes your order.
Amount of time actually dealing with people: 0. I like.

The IG "identified a number of instances where FBI employees regularly spoke with members of the media and received a number of free perks from journalists including meals and tickets to various events."
True, but I would recommend embracing the power and. Let's see:
better customer satisfaction and
lower employment costs and
customers may gravitate towards more expensive options
What's not to like? yes, there will be a startup and replacement costs, but you're getting rid of a training cost, and your kiosk/smart app is not nearly as likely to lip off to your customers.
Well, not until the AI comes into play. Oh, you want fries with that? that's a shock, chubby.

Sixclaws, just so you know, there are stories of parents doing the same things to their CHILDREN. I know of one personally, but I'd heard of those stories previously.
Just goes to show that there's more than one type of respect - and parents have to EARN the most precious type of respect. Parents like that don't deserve it.
