I feel very fortunate. When in college and having so much fun I was flunking out, there was not a culture of victimhood and if there had been I don't qualify, so I had to face the fact that it was my own damn fault and knuckle-down (is that a reference to gorillas?).

I believe I read somewhere that it's a reference to playing marbles, but has changed meanings in the intervening years.
