Statistically, being on a first-world commercial airline is the very safest way you can spend your time, and is safer now than it has ever been before, even though emotionally it might not seem that way.
After Sandy Hook, a lot of parents were spazzing, quite understandably. It took a few days from someone to write a similar sentence: "[S]tatistics show children are far safer in the classroom than out of it." (Washington Times)

De Blasio lets security haul away Post reporter for asking question
Mayor de Blasio is a such a big believer in the free press that he let two bodyguards physically remove a credentialed Post reporter who had the temerity to ask him a question in public on Sunday.
I asked leftist progressives outside the White House today what they would do if they met President Trump. Their answers:
•"I would murder him."
•"We'd have to do him like Gaddafi."
•"If I get a chance to fuck him up I would."
•"Beat his ass."

I'd put my money on Trump in those situations. Given the way I've seen the antifa types fight, they don't stand a chance against pretty much anyone who has actually been in a fist fight before.
Because unless they attack from behind with a bicycle lock, they're just not very good at fighting.

Given his age, I'd say "yes". You know, school, fistfight? or after school behind the bleachers.
I know you loathe Trump, but he isn't so insulated from life that he's never faced difficulties that faced people born in 1946. He's not Generation Snowflake that curls up in a ball if you're mean to them.

Supposition?
Well, who could argue?
He's always struck me as a delicate little thing. Y'know... Needy.
Good to read, especially considering that last passage:
"No matter what, he was on our team and that's it," Levine said. "You understand what I mean? ... You don't go against your teammates, no matter what."
And he went to private school, until he got sent to the NY Military Academy. Since he came from "new money" I'm sure the kids from the "old money" were simply sweetness light to him, and never, not once picked on him.
And he had an older brother, whom I'm sure never picked on his younger brother.

In the category of "you get the government you deserve because you vote for them":
Ten shipping containers filled with food, baby products, and over-the-counter medications like Tylenol — all supplies desperately needed in the days and weeks following Hurricane Maria — were found rotting in a Puerto Rico parking lot last week, never distributed.
"A restaurant in Texas had to scrub its social media accounts and issue a public apology over the weekend — all because it served Attorney General Jeff Sessions a meal."
You could say that about anyplace, right? He's a kid from Terre Haute... He's a kid from Jacksonville...
> whom I'm sure never picked
> on his younger brother.
Being a younger brother is all it takes? The sarcastic delivery of this line is telling. I.e., My respect for several dozen public figures is now retroactively elevated...
