Conservative Millie Weaver (no idea who she is, but she gets a blue checkmark on Twitter, so I guess she's at least somewhat famous) makes a prize idiot of herself by not understanding how private companies work.
Here's the URL, since the links posted using html no longer work on Amy's site, for whatever reason.

how private companies work
Except Facebook isn't a private company. It's owned by shareholders. Oh, and they've made certain promises, that now they're reneging on. Instapundit lays it out.

Why criticize the officer? The suspect could have had a bomb in that backpack.
Or a dog, or a dog full of bees, and when it opens its mouth it shoots bees at you.

Socialism is apparently unaffordable. Which explains why "true socialism" has never actually been tried.

I think at this point, it's simply a matter of time before Sarah Jeong and the NYTimes part ways. Probably over "creative differences".
What's your over-under in weeks? I'm going to say about 10 weeks.

Im gonna guess she gets the boot in October before the political push for the midterm elections
The majority of candidates and NYT readers may be liberal, but they are WHITE liberals
And Jeoung is not a partisan racist, she will piss off her white fan base oncce they begin to understand she isnt talking about republicans, but about them

Planting further government hooks into the internet.
This includes:
No word if they want to outlaw VPNs. And I see that Poor Richard will be hardest hit.

Question: why do the Dems want to give The Donald even more authoritarian power?

Wow, so she tells men of two prior generations of women in her family sperm trapping men for kids and then jettisoning the men from their children's lives and she cant figure out why being seen as disposable in her world view makes them nervous? Is she really that narcissistic?

Im curious what donor dad means? Not just to her but objectivly to society at large
Sperm her mother got from:
A) a clinic
B) a man who knew her plan and willing to abandon children
C) a man who had no clue what her plans were and never knew you existed
D) a man who wasn't willing to walk away but forced out by court action
It amazes me she cant figure out why a guy isnt jumping at the prospect to be a ATM for 20 years after she gets her sperm and dumps him

We need a Deadpool. Despite an Ivy education, this woman's career didn't gain traction until she started bitching and threatening people. She'll be testing boundaries essentially ASAP: 10 weeks is an interesting ante. It'll be fun to watch.

I don't think so. She is smart enough to keep her mouth shut for a while and anything she says close to the election will be easily buried in the epic mud slinging that will come out this year.
Was trying to guess when the whole Russia reveal would be for both sides would be. I figure each side is holding one hidden Ace up their sleeves. Reveal too soon and it will be forgotten/spun before the election. With the speed the news cycle has been going Nov 3 rd is my guess.

To society I'd say: 85% A and 15%B. But her family is hard core I'd give even odds on all choices including stealing a used condom or sabotaging one.
Joe J at August 8, 2018 11:45 PM
"No word if they want to outlaw VPNs."
They will almost certainly try (again) to outlaw non-escrowed encryption. After all, if you have nothing to hide, then you don't need it. Right?
