I agree with the sentiment, although I would have preferred that he went to the WTO first. 90% of U.S. complaints to that body are resolved in favor of the U.S.

This Kavanaugh hearing is really bothering me.

I tweeted in response to someone with a blue check mark (never heard of her), insisting that she knew that Kavanaugh did it because of Ford's emotional state. No actor could pull off that performance, she claimed.

I responded that yes, actors can do that. I should know. I'm an actor. I then added that Ford should be exposed as a liar and tried for perjury.

Then someone who actually follows me on Twitter and has many mutual friends retweeted me said, "When you aren't a woman hating douchebag."

Interesting. Because I don't accept accusations with no evidence -- and even worse, in the face of more persuasive evidence that she's a liar, since none of her hand-picked witnesses could corroborate this story, or even that she mentioned it prior to now -- that automatically makes me a woman-hating douchebag.

I'm very concerned that so many people are so emotionally-driven that all rational thought has been thrown out the window. All the evidence suggests that she's either a liar or mistaken in her mind, yet, so many are just so determined to believe her.

Moments like this, I fear for the world.
