Burkas, yes, but objectively speaking some Islamic dress is much more beautiful than western if you ignore all the politics and such.I'm thinking of some east African ensembles I've seen, flowing robes and headscarvesin turquoise and pink... gorgeous.

The most beautiful dress world wide though is the sari, hands down. Which is not Islamic.

I'm partial to several types of Central and Eastern European traditional folk dress. (Dirndls and whatnot, but not the slutty Halloween beer wench costume types.) OOOh, and lace!
I also love most of the traditional floral art like Rosmahling, Fileteado, Czech Easter eggs, etc.

Sadly, our local traditional costume is rather boring. My husband is all, what's the use of a dirndl that doesn't show cleavage?!

Embrace the power of "and", tho I'll grant you that Calvinism was rather austere. The pictures in your link very much look like "Sunday go to meeting" clothing. Can't be showing off the naughty bits, you know?
