So I guess Google maps sometimes uses amateur image harvesters.

Things not to like about Quillette:
I agree with them about too much stuff. Marx (the good one) said: I wouldn't want to be a part of any club that would accept me as a member. Some other perceptive person said: If you don't know who the fool is at the poker table, you're the fool. Haspel said: The most probable explanation is the least flattering. Eventually it feels less likely that I'm part of some gleaming trans-national syndicate of thoughtful internet readers, and more likely that I'm just part of a well-targeted market segment.
While editor Lehman is attractive and clever, her name is too much before us.
Their Twitter teases can be a little too on the nose, so to speak.
You can find notes in odd places. The Wise Guy flies again.
"AMARG, this 60-034, a Cold Warrior that stood sentinel over America from the darkest days of the Cold War to the global fight against terror. Take good care of her... Until we need her again."
So I guess Google maps sometimes uses amateur image harvesters.
Interestingly enough, you can follow them up (or is it down?) river.

Dayum, Six— You are precisely correct, and I hadn't thought of it… After all, it's been more than 20 years. The site has that same feeling… 'These these people can write anything they want, even if it's TRUE'.
Maybe that's why I'm anticipating pain: Salon fell about as far as falling can fall. They fell farther even than Slate, which fell pretty damn far.
Maybe you should write an email to Claire and let her know about the risks she's facing.

Well, the best she can do is to stave off the postmodernist rot as much as she can before selling off the site to a major publisher.
And then she can rant how Quillete wasn't a trainwreck when she was in charge.

@Crid,
The funny part about Quillette is what Salon used to be before it got Overrun by Social Justice Warriors.

What the title SHOULD say is "elderly woman arrested for carrying her prescription CBD oil."
https://www.usatoday.com/story/travel/experience/america/theme-parks/2019/05/08/great-grandmother-arrested-disney-world-over-cbd-oil-her-purse/1148429001/

From lenona's article:
Burkhalter told Orlando's Fox 35 that she was prescribed the CBD oil by her North Carolina doctor.
Better title would be: have your doctor's note to prove your prescription is above board.
