In a speech in Hollywood a few years ago, Lomborg said that copper (leaching slowly from cookware donated to impoverished African villagers) increased scores by FIFTEEN, which is a freaking standard deviation.

For those who didn't click on mpetrie's link: The driver is white - and was on drugs.

mpetrie: Or the cops inaccurately reported whatever he said. When there's no recording of an interview, there are many ways the cops can distort it. There's reporting the words, but not the sarcastic tone. There's forgetting some of the words by the time they get a chance to type of the report. There's misunderstanding slurred speech (especially when the suspect is drunk or on drugs), or the accent. And sometimes they straight up lie.
And the FBI, which has long had a policy of NOT recording interviews, has sometimes written multiple versions of their interview report - and then used one of those versions to charge someone with lying to them.
If a cop's story is not backed up by video or neutral witnesses, I've learned to give it no more credence than a criminal's.
