And many English teachers will tell you that the best way to get semi-literate teens to appreciate Shakespeare is to have them WATCH a good production of any play before READING it. That way, they can get more comfortable with the idea of listening and absorbing it without understanding every single word or sentence. (It makes the reading easier, later on, too!)
