I remember Warren Buffett's calls for raising taxes. As I recall it his secretary paid more than he did (as a percentage probably). So the solution Buffett proposed was to raise income taxes . . . and make his secretary pay even more. After all Buffett pays mainly capital gains taxes not income taxes. I expect much the same from the wealthy calling for a new wealth tax.
