If a webpage asks me to turn off my Ad Blocker, I won't read the article/editorial.
I'm tired of them pretending that the surrender of my digital identity is merely the annoyance of an ad for a hotel chain using flashing Gifs.

IIRC, that's a Euro Union thing, observed by most US sites in order to pretend they're going to get laid on their next trip to Paris. It's repugnant, but another clue that most internet enterprises are no less sshabby
I want there to be a court proceeding about this, because the transcript will be a good beach read.
