As a Jew I think this is an example of anti white Jewish racism and though I don't like antisemtism I can understand and forgive people being antisemtic from overexposure to such Jewish people.

Not all Jews are like this, but it would be understating the matter to say that only a small minority is. From my experience something like half of Jews harbor anti-white hatred.

There is no generally-accepted definition in the US. The Congressional Research Service echoes the FBI in saying it is 4 or more people targeted and shot indiscriminately. USA Today sticks with the 4-or-more standard. Other US media generally go with 5 or more killed, including family members (whom, I assume are targeted discriminately and thus not included in the FBI/CRS standard).

In Australia, home of the much-vaunted gun buy-back, the official threshold is 5 fatalities not including the shooter. As such, the 2002 Melbourne shooting does not count as a mass shooting since only two were killed, although 5 were shot. Nor does the 2014 Sydney shooting in which the gunman was one of the 3 fatalities and 4 of the wounded were shot by the police.

Keep in mind that a focus on "mass shooting" excludes mass murders (both successful and attempted) such as the Boston bombing, the Times Square truck bomb, the London stabbing attacks, the Nice truck attack, the Queensland (Australia) stabbing attack, and the Tokyo stabbing attack.

Even Columbine started out as a bombing attack. The failure of the bombs to detonate led Klebold and Harris to go on a shooting rampage.

The worst US school massacre was the Bath School bombing in 1927 which killed 44 (38 children 6 adults) and wounded 58. The victims included the bomber's wife, who was killed when he blew up his own house. After the initial explosion, the bomber drove to the school and exploded his dynamite and shrapnel filled truck when rescuers began efforts to rescue the wounded. During excavation efforts, it was discovered that one of his original bombs had failed to detonate.

The 1920 Wall Street bombing killed 38 and seriously wounded 143. Anarchists set off a bomb in front of JP Morgan's office at 23 Wall Street and used curtain weights as shrapnel.

Prior to the Wall Street bombing, the deadliest such attack had been the bombing of the Los Angeles Times in 1910 which killed 21 and wounded 100. There is a conceit in all this that white people have it easy. That is so not true. I had to bust my butt to get through school. I had 2 jobs for 20 years, painted my own house. If you go through a suburban neighborhood the only men you see outside are doing yardwork or repairs, not hanging around on the corner. If they aren't doing yardwork they are at their job or taking kids to soccer. White men work long hours when you add it all up. When I see my white priv in action, it is getting a large coffee instead of small because the lady at McD's likes me, or I get a little less hassle returning something to the store. No help on big stuff in life.
And what does one do with one's white priv? I have found jobs for a bunch of people and hired others part-time. I have paid all my bills so I never need gov assistance. I've stayed out of jail--again not a burden to others. And I've paid tons of taxes. All of this is a benefit to society.

Another air-headed actress who sanctimoniously decries her mythical "white privilege" (it isn't a "privilege" if you have earned the benefit), but is completely blind to the greatest privilege of all -- being female in today's Western society.

Amy has written many times that she does. I presume Arquette does too, rather than "pretending" as you say.

The notion of shame at being born this or that color is ugly racism

Pride in something you had no control over (gay pride, black pride, proud to be an American, etc.) isn't much better.

This kind of racially-based 'shame', like "liberal guilt" in general, is in 95% of cases really something else quite different from shame/guilt: it is an assertion of superiority over other people.
