So it includes a 14-minute set of metaphors that turns to mud at about 3 or 3½ minutes, and the guy himself hasn't proven to be a particularly good resource as the phenomenon has blossomed.
Yet this is still a fascinating video for newbies, even those with no interest in the underlying topic.

This is two weeks old, but I just found it today.
Warning: This is extremely shocking. You absolutely won't believe it.
Hmmm...how about go fuck yourself whilst pounding sand?
Is anyone else made really uncomfortable these days by anyone wearing any kind of red baseball cap? Like, I see one and my heart does weird shit and then I finally realize it only says Titleist or whatever. Maybe don't wear red caps anymore, normal people?
Any reader of the New York Times and other mainstream media outlet would be forgiven for believing that fires globally are on the rise, but they aren't.
In reality, there was a whopping 25 percent decrease in the area burned from 2003 to 2019, according to NASA.
There's a lot working against China's most indebted property firm. China Evergrande Group is sitting on $113.7 billion in debt and its core profit fell 45% in the first half of the year. Real-estate growth is slowing, with banks under orders to curb home loans. President Xi Jinping’s refrain that houses are for living in, not speculation, has been cropping up more frequently.
Time to rein things in, right? Not Evergrande. The company, whose portfolio already includes theme parks and a football club, now wants to become the world’s biggest electric-vehicle maker in the next three to five years. It’s burning through precious cash – 160 billion yuan ($22 billion) – to build factories in Guangzhou.
China has a lot of bubbles IRA. Most of them government related. Xi's line about houses being for living in is in part related to the cities China built that have no residents.
That seems useful, even if you're more about reading twitter than writing on it. I can't remember which commenter here recommended the GoodTwitter extention, but it's a Godsend.

Aha! Perhaps you're not a United States native!
The problem might not be youngest-child belligerence, but the tin ear of undercooked assimilation.
Easy to imagine that in the old country, some toddling oligarchy nestled in the Tatras, this is how all the gruff adult hosts (un-melodically) communicate with houseguests at the dinner table.
"Your inferences are jejune & unwonted Grigory. Pass the cabbage."
Like that.
I'm just saying, it's a plausible scenario.

Lets Occam's Razor it Crid. The far simpler and more likely explanation is that you are ignorant and out of touch. Senile dementia is settling in resulting in impaired cognitive function and lack of emotional control. After all you are unable to refute simple arguments. Even ones with multiple easy to find counter arguments. Instead you respond with non-sequiturs and personal insults. Thus demonstrating a complete inability to react rationally or handle adult conversation. You are often emotional. Often in exceptionally disconnected ways. For example your objection to the concept of accounting in general or cost of living calculators in specific.
It is tragic when some people age and regress back to a child like state.

It turns out that the University of Cornell created an AI to detect hate speech, and -- you won't believe it -- it turns out that when it comes to hate speech, minorities are by far the most egregious offenders.
I haven't been this shocked since Boy George came out of the closet.
