Big Sister can out-think you before you even reach her shoulders.

With the possible, possible exception of Penn Jillette, I can think of no show business figures better equipped to resist this idiocy than MS & TP.

I secretly like watching old Vines.
They're better than SNL.

You need that many spices if you want chickpeas, lentils, and rice to have any taste.

This article, from a British paper no less, is why Democrats are losing middle America - dripping with contempt for rural Americans because they don't know what's good for them, but he does. Bowing to peer pressure and consumed by racism, those ignorant rural voters refused to support Hillary in 2016.
If you tried to point out the contempt dripping from his words, he'd look at you like you were nuts, unable to see it. To him, he's only speaking the truth.
His contempt for rural voters echos Obama's when he talked about rural voters as bitter, clinging to guns and religion, and blaming their problems on immigration and trade; seeing only their own frustrations. It echoes Hillary's "bucket of deplorables" condescension.
Democrats seem to think rural voters are consumed by their own "frustrations" and unable to rise above their own struggles. Unlike those wise urban voters who set aside their personal interests to vote in the best interests of the nation - i.e., they vote Democrat.
I'm not a rural American, but I've known a few. And they're not the oblivious simpletons this author makes them out to be. He offers no cite of a poll or a survey finding that Trump support is driven mainly by racism and lack of education.
His contempt for his own upbringing seems to be fueling his assertions, more than polls or studies. After all, he's so much smarter than even his own parents.

Well noted Conan.
The hard thing is there is no educating the fellow. Pretty much all you've got is the Patrick position. I.e. 'Go fuck yourself.' Any sort of real conversation isn't an option.
Which is tragic. But I just don't have a better solution.
