When I first heard the term "transabled," I assumed it was to describe someone who is transgendered who also happens to be disabled.
Nope. It's someone with an intact body who "identifies" as disabled. A more innocuous expression is someone who has fully functional legs who chooses to live in a wheelchair. And no, I'm not talking about the obese who let themselves go so badly that they find it nearly impossible to walk, a la Queen Anne. These are normal-sized people with working legs who simply choose to pretend they can't use them.
A much more aggressive form involves intentionally inflicting disabilities on themselves. For example, people who pour bleach into their eyes to blind themselves.
And this even has a name: body integrity dysphoria.
I'm now convinced that the United States needs to suffer a crisis and to bring back the draft. We simply have too much time on our hands. We now have the luxury of inventing things to be offended by. Maybe if some of us faced for existential threats, we'd have less time to invent nonsensical issues and decide we suffer from them.
First I'd heard of transabled. We have become a deeply disturbed society. Maybe the existential threat of an all-out nuclear war with the Commies served to keep us sane.
Go piss up a rope, Bonnie Prince Charlie. Say, how'd you get to New Zealand from England??
CHRISTCHURCH: Prince Charles warned Friday that time is running out to address the impact of climate change as he prepares to visit one of the Pacific island nations most-affected by global warming.
As he wrapped up a six-day trip to New Zealand ahead of three days in the Solomon Islands, Charles said the need for climate action was urgent.
Tulsi Gabbard is the most interesting candidate in the Democratic presidential field, but that isn’t how her party sees her. Politico reports: “Democratic establishment reaches boiling point with Tulsi Gabbard.” The knives are out:

Interesting how much we agree of late. We're supposed to be hating each other.
I imagine those who actually owe their disability to circumstance (and not their own conscious choices) would find this offensive.

Fortunately, not something you see every day. Also, words you don't want on your tombstone.
The Jefferson County Medical Examiner confirms Christine Rollins’ cause of death as “exsanguination due to feral hog assault,” the sheriff said.
I double checked to make sure Florida Hog wasn't involved. Then I checked to see how large Florida Hog was, and estimates put it at 500,000 individuals. In the country, they're in 35 states and number about 3 million.

Then there is a third option — informed by an ideology according to which it is possible for a child to be “born in the wrong body.” In this option, clinical activists recommend a drastic response when a child expresses confusion about gender. First, parents should tell the child, however young, that he truly is the sex he identifies with. Second, parents should consider delaying his puberty through off-label uses of drugs that can have serious (and largely unstudied) side effects. Third, parents should consider giving their child the puberty experience of the opposite sex, through cross-sex hormonal injections and gels (which result in sterility). Finally, parents should consider greenlighting the surgical removal of their child’s reproductive organs.
A Sense Of Self: What Happens When Your Brain Says You Don't Exist
"And what's intriguing and interesting in terms of the self is that what is most important for our sense of self or our bodily self is the internal perception of it. You know, you can look at your body and you can see your hand or leg that is fully functional. And yet, if it doesn't feel like yours - the feeling is the much more important part of oneself, not the fact that you can see it and you can function with this leg."
"Body Integrity Identity Disorder, or BIID. People with BIID believe that a part of their body - for instance, a leg or an arm - isn't really theirs. Some people with BIID try to get the alien body part amputated."

Cooking turkey? it isn't hard, it is just time consuming.
You may want to brine the bird. This will take several hours, you probably want to start the night before.
Also, let it rest at least 15 minutes after you've removed it from the oven. This helps avoid a dry bird.
My department has purchased deep fried turkey, and that is quite good. Remember to pat your turkey dry and warm up, or Bad Things will happen.
