Intersectionality is about the intersection of various levels of marginlization. It's a lefty academia scheme for giving people points based on all the marginalized classes they belong to -- as opposed to taking the Martin Luther King approach and judging people by what they can control: The content of their character and how they behave in keeping with that.
It's the basis of these sick dinners for white women at $2,500 per, written about in The Guardian by Poppy Noor:
This is Race to Dinner. A white woman volunteers to host a dinner in her home for seven other white women - often strangers, perhaps acquaintances. (Each dinner costs $2,500, which can be covered by a generous host or divided among guests.) A frank discussion is led by co-founders Regina Jackson, who is black, and Saira Rao, who identifies as Indian American. They started Race to Dinner to challenge liberal white women to accept their racism, however subconscious. "If you did this in a conference room, they'd leave," Rao says. "But wealthy white women have been taught never to leave the dinner table."Rao and Jackson believe white, liberal women are the most receptive audience because they are open to changing their behavior.
(They mean they are the most likely to be gullible enough to fork over $2,500 to hear what terrible people they are.)
In recent months, Jackson and Rao changed the model. They didn't want to just have women rely on them to shout at them for being racist and then go home."We began to expect more of them," says Rao. That meant asking the women to speak up. To own their racism. It meant getting them to do the required reading, as well as follow-up discussions, where they decide how to do better anti-racist work.
In the conversation that followed the dinner, Campbell-Swanson, who couldn't get her racist thoughts out, committed to writing a journal, jotting down daily decisions or thoughts that could be considered racist, and think about how to approach them differently.
Lisa Bond, who was hired because Rao and Jackson thought there would be instances when participants would feel more comfortable expressing their feelings to another white woman, says this will help her see how unmonitored thoughts can lead to systemic racism. "If our ability to spot these things increases, our ability to challenge it will increase," says Bond.
Hilariously, if anybody's racist, it's Saira Rao.
The dinners sounded like they could be fun, but not at that price tag!

Let's see, what do you do if you have a law degree, but you're tired of the law, if your one novel isn't selling well enough to pay the bills, and if your political career is dead on arrival?

If I want to be yelled at, I can find any number of nutters, or just a campus preacher. But I repeat myself. And they'll do it for free. On the other hand, as PT Barnum is alleged to have said, it's morally wrong to allow suckers to keep their money.

She did a whole tweetstorm a while back about how her friends deserted her after she kept on badgering them about how white women were all racist. (She blamed this on their "whiteness" rather than her own insufferability.) So those friends walked away from getting for free what she's now charging $2500 for!

FTFY. Far from being marginalized today, those classes are now the privileged ones, and will get in-your-face racist when that undeserved privilege (and their chronic abuse of it to protect against EARNED criticism) is questioned.
Those abusers have long since become the only people filing civil rights complaints. Which is why it's high time to repeal the civil rights laws and let people discriminate as they please.

Black women median income same as white women. Due to cultural issues, black men (not all of them, duh) are stuck in a behavior mode of gangs and sudden violence. Whites have no control over that culture and cannot fix it. What black men need to realize is that successful white men have worked their butts off all their lives. They studied hours and hours in school, worked overtime, maybe had 2 jobs, dressed nice for work and didn't fight with people there. They didn't have time to "hang out" and go to clubs every night. Whites who live the "hang out" lifestyle are also poor. I saw figures for high school kids doing homework: asians 3hrs, whites 2hrs, blacks
