Did the Framers of the Second Amendment consider the possibility that Americans might own firearms with a capacity greater than 10 rounds? Certainly yes. Such arms had been invented two centuries before the Second Amendment, and by 1791, repeating arms, including those capable of firing more than 10 rounds, were well-known in the United States. The history is explained in a Third Circuit amicus brief I coauthored last week.
“The complaints of sexual misconduct involve allegations of hugging and non-romantic kissing (greetings) from five to ten years ago purportedly experienced by Plaintiff’s faculty colleagues in same department. None of the complainants allege that they exhibited overt expressions of unwelcomeness at the time of the alleged incidents. Following issuance of thinly-supported reports from the University’s Title IX Office, Plaintiff was advised that the University intended to terminate his tenure.”
mpetrie, it was only a couple of generations ago that the makers of the Muppets could hardly bother to acknowledge that there were even TWO sexes. (Same went for Dr. Seuss's characters, as it happens.)
Maybe that was because, in theory, girls would watch male characters, but not vice versa, and since boys and girls didn't used to play together - or at least didn't play sports together - the producers didn't see a problem with having so few females.
At any rate, kids who choose to be openly gay before finishing high school - and those who couldn't hide it if they tried - deserve to know that at least some adults in this world truly care about them, even if they're only strangers.
Or, as historian Rebecca Solnit said, in effect, in response to Dan Savage's campaign "It Gets Better": "Why should the bullying exist in the first place? Why should any one have to wait for things to 'get better'?"

I was in a rush and forgot an important part. Namely, T.P. is not exactly in a position to criticize, given that he's been accused of aggravating the gay teen suicide rate for years. I've certainly never heard him tell parents of gay teens to do anything but try to eliminate their homosexuality. Never mind when the kids are transgender.
I have sympathy for those parents who balk at the idea of hormones or surgery for their preteens. However, given that many transgender kids become suicidal, since they're not about to settle for being gay or settle for certain clothes, hairstyles, toys, pastimes, OR settle for postponing surgery until adulthood, when it wouldn't fool anyone anyway, I would hope the parents would not want to risk their kids' suicides.
