Seriously, there seem to be a lot of people these days in search of a project, a Big Undertaking upon which to justify their existence while getting rid of all of that nervous excess-caffeine energy. You want a project? Colonize the Moon. It's difficult; some people will die in the attempt, and once it succeeds, it will be viewed with fondness the way previous generations viewed the Westward expansion and WWII.

Such people always existed CD. Thanks to the powers of the internet now we can all hear them no matter how inane or insipid they are.

In a similar vein this has been the decade for the failure of elitism. No matter how intelligent or credentialed Romney or Steyer and co are they are still less capable than a washed up TV guy. (Seriously, Trump was never even a TV star.)
