His family has been living off of selling Joe's influence for decades. Once Joe is out of office they aren't getting paid. As far as needing a food taster, I doubt Biden would notice much less oppose being replaced after the election. Dementia is a terrible thing. But if Harris takes over how is Biden's family going to sell her influence?

If Harris has her way, Biden will be left in office for 2 years. That will give Harris her 10 year limit (22nd Amendment). He'll be ousted after Year 2 using the 25th Amendment. No need to kill him.

Biden's corrupt brother and equally corrupt drug-addict son have gotten rich off selling dear old Joe. Don't count out Dr. Biden either; Jill is just as mercenary.

The Bidens need Joe to be seen as a coherent president. That will conflict with Kamala's need to portray herself as the coherent one, the one who is really in charge.

Let's just hope no emergency arises wherein the Secret Service separates the President and Vice President, so Kamala can continue to make the decisions. As bad as she is, a demented Joe calling the shots will be worse. Worse yet, the mercenary Jill Biden calling the shots behind the scenes.

For the Bidens, killing or removing Joe from office would be killing the goose that laid the golden egg. You can see in their desperation that they know the free ride is almost over. Joe's lost it and none of them have ever done anything but live off of him. They need the illusion that Joe's calling the shots to hold up so they can continue to collect their paychecks.

Another competitor in this little power struggle will be the Democratic Party. It wants to emerge with the party in control, not a personal dictatorship by Harris. Plans are already being made to end the Senate filibuster, gerrymander state districts for the House (helped along by counting illegal aliens in the census), eliminate or neuter the Electoral College, etc.

This election is no longer a straight-up contest about governance, but one about power. And the players to watch are not the candidates.

Harris can buy off the Biden's by promising to not ask the FBI to open an investigation into James and Hunter Biden's business activities. Nice grift you have there. Be a terrible shame if something happened to it.

Yes, they'll have to get honest jobs. But they won't be in Club Fed. And they won't accidentally end up at FCI Marion.
