If Prop 16 passes, it would bring back disgusting racist practice of discriminating against individuals who've earned their way into college or a job, based on their having the "wrong" skin color.

Vile when done to blacks/Latinos. Vile when done to Asians/whites.
Vile, period. https://t.co/gmazF1n5fL

It's all about outcomes, not inputs.
If they really want preferred minorities to populate university student bodies in larger numbers, they'd do the real work required to prepare those minorities for competitive university admissions.
Instead, the agitators convince the targeted minorities that their low numbers at universities are due to discrimination and channel that anger into useful agitation to gain power for the agitators themselves with promises of vindication for the minorities.
And that dumbs down the program for everybody. A recent study revealed that 40-60% of incoming freshmen at American universities require remedial instruction in math and/or English. That's not just minorities getting sub-standard primary and secondary schooling.

And it's clearly not just minorities who have parents who never read INTELLIGENT books to their kids - or who allow them to wallow in anti-academic activities for hours every day.. You don't kids to like vegetables by giving the m all the candy they demand.

Sorry for the typos - sometimes this site gets stuck in ways you wouldn't believe, and it takes me half an hour to type one short paragraph.
What I wanted to add to the last post was: It's easy enough to teach kids that math is highly useful. Just show them how to find the true bargains at supermarkets and elsewhere. Otherwise, they'll have little incentive to learn at school.

Welcome to Malaysia. The excessively spicy food keeps tourists from noticing what kind of people are ruling it:
