Super annoying thing from TV shows: Person who died in prior episode keeps coming back and having conversations with characters in later episodes. Most annoying thing about "Ray Donovan" (Me to BF: "Nooo...not dead cancer wife again!") and it keeps happening in other shows.

Television has trouble with internal monologues. In books, the internal monologue of a character is easily included, but in a visual medium, the character needs someone to play off of.
Exposition is another area with which television struggles. In crime shows, it's easier. A recurring character shows up and provides a complete breakdown of the suspect's history. In dramas, it usually requires and awkward bit of dialogue that makes the viewer wonder if the writers have ever had a real human interaction.
There are several unrealistic aspects of crimes shows that we accept for expedience. One lab tech handles biological, chemical, and physical analyses of evidence. The computer tech can find out anything with a few key strokes. All this all happens within minutes, not the days or weeks real crime lab results take.

Amy really hates Obi-Wan, and Conan hates Abby.
That's all there is to it!
Question: when Joe Biden dies, he can still vote, right?
We can ask him!

• This isn't meant to harsh Amy's appraisal in its context, but this may have been premature.

"City Commissioner Jo Ann Hardesty"
She seems rational.

That thing where you don't give a shit about pro sports for your whole life and then you get old and you know what Thursday night means to a bunch of idiots in Georgia, and then you're all like 'Well how 'bout that....'
