20-something person I mentor and adore has COVID. She thought she was getting better yesterday, which is a huge relief. I feel like a mama bird. Having children has to be a mental health crisis much of the time!

You get used to it eventually. And the disease runs about a week for people that age.

I predict that in the 2024 presidential elections the surveillance cameras will magically shutdown and the video footage will be replaced by CGI footage to ensure nothing bad ever happened.

I'm glad she's feeling better.
And occasionally it's a mental health crisis, but with mine, mostly not. Sometimes, even when they're grown, you want to tell 'em, "Hey, don't worry, it's gonna be alright. You can handle this!"
