Ran across an interesting word today, baizuo.

It's a Chinese word referring to native Westerners and Western-educated people who advocate for peace and equality in order to satisfy their own feelings of moral superiority.

The Chinese see baizuo as arrogant, and ignorant, Westerners who pity the rest of the world and think of themselves as its saviors.

It is often used by Chinese to refer to those Westerners who adopt or advocate for acceptance of the practices of less civilized societies (e.g., Third World countries) for the sake of multiculturalism.

Well, the comportment of the West in this year of misery has not been entirely distinguished.

But seriousballs, I'm not looking to the Chinese for guidance on any matters of civility. Whatsoever.
