Ridiculous. American actors do French accents, Russian, play Brits and vice versa. It's called acting! Brit Freddie Hightower does great American accent as doc w/autism. No idea he was Brit till I heard him in a PSA. Azeria is virtue signaling. Is he donating the $ he made?! https://t.co/48DXCd1PKx

Freddie does a super job. Not sure why he's working after he won the Wonka chocolate factory...
But acting is what actors do. Anthony Simcoe sounds a foot shorter and much less serious in person than he does onscreen in Farscape. It isn't offensive, much less a crime, to be able to impersonate others exactly.
"You can come out now, Homer Simpson. Your opportunity for personal heroism has passed." - Apu
Maybe Hank needs to come with me to Shivm General Store, in Cape Canaveral, Florida, where I will introduce him to a man exactly like Apu: hardworking, dedicated to his store, robbery survivor. There is no shame in that depiction.

Has anyone ever had a Steak-Umm? Are they healthy to eat and pleasant to taste?

Y'know, two years ago, I'da called Fauci's office and told him to make something happen.
But as it is....

I'd bet Azaria is simply self-flagellating in order to keep working in a company town teeming with social justice idiots.
Do the critics of his performance as Apu think he took a job away from an Indian-American actor? Or that he was portraying Indian-Americans in a negative light? Or are they upset with the stereotype of an Indian-American working in a convenience store, reminiscent of Joe Biden's, "You cannot go to a 7-11 or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I'm not joking."

Hey, Crid? iMDB is your friend. Freddie was Charlie Bucket, who won the chocolate factory in the movie of the same name. See, if that had been real (it's not, I'm pretending here) he'd be Charlie and rich and not be Freddie and have to act.
Perhaps I should be more obvious just for you. Or nearby cleavage has distracted you from tenuousity. One hopes!

Here's an interesting passage:
It would be interesting to know if they've identified the right guy, though there's little reason for them to care.Crid at April 13, 2021 8:35 AM
Via Kat Mangu-Ward, a little something for those who were told there would be no math.
