As many in the thread pointed out, there is no Olympics of suffering; whatever happened to good manners and sympathy; and besides, people pretty much choose to be parents, but no one chooses insomnia or a awful, chronic illness that may never end. IF things don't get better for the mothers as the kids get older, chances are they aren't making the kids do the chores they could easily do. Plus, those parents who are always whining that parenting is the hardest job in the world likely didn't want to be parents.
