Opponent's spokesman, opportunistically: "His hateful words show him to be unfit to work in government or anywhere else."

Teens are often judgmt-deficient assholes. People grow up, change thinking. Judge him on who he is now. People should not be ruined for life per teen words. https://t.co/ftfPvpd5Ir

Still, there is a bit of irony in the left eating its own. Pass the popcorn.

"Think before you speak. Read before you think. This will give you something to think about that you didn't make up yourself – a wise move at any age, but most especially at seventeen, when you are in the greatest danger of coming to annoying conclusions." — Fran Lebowitz

Guys, not everything in life is a trite, clucking lesson from someone with extended pinkies.
This problem isn't going away. I'm with Amy: You're looking at the wrong end of the funnel.

Who said any problem WAS going away?
Yes, I agree with Amy. But PARENTS should not be lowering standards. They aren't doing kids any favors when they don't point out that future employers can and will reject you for anything they find online.
(Or, for that matter, when they refuse to talk to kids about drugs or alcohol because they want to believe that if they don't raise the subject, their kids won't even get curious.)

Trump is angry with Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey for not backing attempts to overturn Biden's 2020 win in the state.
Trump threatened to campaign for a Democrat if Ducey runs for Senate in 2022, The Daily Beast reported.
Allies believe Trump couldn't have been serious, The Daily Beast reported.

Times also change around teens. And teens often change with them. Parental influence plays a large role in an early teenager's outlook. Short of murder, few adults should be held responsible for their teenaged selves.

> Who said any problem WAS going away?
You did. Seemed that way... The solution is always 'If we just did this or said that for our kids…' without so much as a glance at the power and hazard of human nature.

I mean, inculcating even more discomfort about the future in young people is less of a solution than reminding these "PARENTS" you're always talking about that the demon is within most every young heart. Pretending that it isn't because you happen to have corralled your own childishly presumptuous nature won't help.

It's not what you say, it's how you say it. This applies whether you're addressing adults or children.
It's sort of like Driver's Ed. No, you don't want to be too negative in the presentation, but it's still something that has to be taken seriously by the students, warts and all.
lenona at April 26, 2021 9:23 AM
As a rule of thumb, teenagers should be treated like a schrodinger's savant: They're bright but not that bright, and they're also stupid but not that stupid.

Agree completely, Lenona. Just saying that there's a time in life where each of us doesn't know how to drive. Wokey cancallators seem to forget that.

Just watched "the countdown and launch of a Delta 4-Heavy rocket with the classified NROL-82 payload for the National Reconnaissance Office."
Nowadays, when you see enormous, chemically-befouled boosters fall uselessly into the ocean, it just looks sooooo gauche...
