A Carnival Of Hate And Discrimination
Life lately is a carnival of the absurd, with racist hate against whites seen as a supposed cure for racism and removal of due process from men on campus seen as fair treatment.
Ashe Schow writes at The Daily Wire:
Two appeals courts have found that the excuse used by colleges and universities that they aren't biased against male students, but biased against accused students, who just so happen to be almost exclusively male, is a farce.Earlier this month, the Eight Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that black male football players at the University of Minnesota were victims of discrimination due to their gender. The university argued it was merely biased in favor of accusers, not any particular gender. The Eighth Circuit rejected the university's argument. ...
...Schools have, for the past decade, argued that they aren't biased against male students, just accused students. But the whole point of using Title IX to force colleges to adjudicate allegations of sexual assault was that, by not punishing the accused, schools were creating a hostile environment for women, who are the vast majority of accusers. Many of the services and support offered to accusers are provided through campus women's centers, making any notion that this is about anyone other than women impossible to accept.
...The accused, meanwhile, are mostly men, demonized by those who claim that sexual assault is rampant on campus and that accusers must be believed no matter what.
If not punishing the accused is sex discrimination against women, then refusing to allow the accused to defend themselves from even obviously spurious allegations should be considered sex discrimination against men.
These two circuit courts have essentially agreed.
A number of men have had their lives ruined through these kangaroo court proceedings. Some have sued, but sometimes, what one loses can't be recovered. If you are expelled from undergrad, can't go to another school, lose that time to be in college, and have to deal with the trauma of being not only accused but denied due process and any hope of defending yourself...well, for some people, that's not something that can be moved on from all that easily.

While the injustices men face are obvious, it is equally obvious that the majority of people -- both men and women -- just don't care.
So much for the proposition that we live in a "patriarchy" that conspires to keep women down.

The majority want more injustices for men.

Women seem determined to prove that when given complete control of institutions they can be as bad (or worse) than men. Many of the "crimes" are just bad dates or boorish behavior (had sex then didn't call again), not "rape". In few cases in fact did classic rape (violent, with threats of death) occur on these campus'.
