Interesting tale of a fraud, maybe everyone else knows about it.

If you speak Russian, please listen to this Bach stream at the top of the hour and explain what's going to be on. It seems like every sixty minutes, they break the musical selections for a clip from a Moscow comedy club. Or something.

If anyone wants to see the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus video of "We're Coming For Your Children" in its entirety.
It might work for an all-gay audience, like a Pride Festival or a Metropolitan Community Church. But in front of an open audience, it became a weapon in the hands of the anti-gay contingent. Just go to YouTube and enter "San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus" into their search engine and see the number of videos you get about this story.
Also comments all over their Facebook page, too. I just left a message on their Facebook, "Would you guys terribly mind not trying to get us all killed? Thanks."

Ignore ninnies who smirk, or weep, that 'The ocean is on fire!'
Part 1: They don't know enough about economics.
Part 2: They don't know enough about anything else, either.
That kind of sarcasm is how woke happens. Anybody remember "An Inconvenient Truth"? It was a (lousy) book by Al Gore, a famous politician.

Yeah, it's for preaching to the choir, Patrick.

Tech goes both ways. There was a kid here a couple years ago who used to rag on Elon Musk every chance he got… But this, a well-proven technology at this point, is absolutely superb.

*Nah, I'm just getting warmed up. Much like your suicidal child who's burning in the fires of Hell as we speak! Ahahahaha! Wooooo! Catholics win again! Wooo!".
Michigan court agrees: Padre Don LaCuesta's hateful speech is fully protected because it's delivered from the pulpit.
I seened it in the Detroit Free Press, if you're interested.

Here's a long but fascinating twitter thread about agriculture and network effects.

That woman is a wonderful reminder that not only CompSci is full of very bright but also morally cancerous invididuals.
IIRC she ruined a farmer's livelihood by accusing him twitter of being a nazi. And she gloated about it.
I think I posted a link about that in here some time ago.

It's good for Cisco, et al. But to quote everyone's favorite movie mathematician: "Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should."
Also applies to weaponizing bat viruses, radicalizing political parties, and social media.

"and every single one I ever heard of comes back to CA with their tail between their legs within 5 years.
The funniest part is nobody will EVER talk about WHY
which is remarkable for an industry that thrives on shit-talk & gossip." ~Crid link
The thing is this doesn't just apply to agriculture. If you are employing people from California in the south and are not in a far left enclave you need to prepare for a 90+% retention loss within 5 years.
I agree skilled workers are important for building a business. But the wider picture is California culture is vastly different than southern culture, and Californians do not like being minorities. To an extent that the very vast majority are willing to give up greater real income in order to return to more familiar surroundings.

I was reading on the Threadreader site and had no idea it was her until the interesting sausage thread about logistics devolved into BIPOC bs.
So I clicked on the other link you posted with the full tweet chain and voilá. It was her.
Funny thing I remember from her brouhahaha with the farmers whose livelihood she ruined: She didn't had a link to her Patreon account in her Twitter bio until she pulled that stunt.
