From a 1997 Nick Gillespie piece in Reason:

…there was another annoyance aimed specifically at us kids: constant, invidious comparisons to the '60s generation by the '60s generation. They were idealistic, we were cynical. They were active, we were apathetic. They smoked dope and had sex to open their minds, we merely indulged ourselves. "You kids today, you don't do anything, you don't know where it's at," regularly ranted one of my high school history teachers, a bearded ex-hippie whose high point in life was hitchhiking to Woodstock. (His low point, I assumed then and hope for his sake now, was teaching at my high school.) "We were out in the streets, man, out in the streets!" he would say, exhorting us to some vague notion of revolution while demanding we raise our hands before speaking in class.

It seems to be a pattern ... people who "love humanity" and want to "save the world" seem to disrespect and abuse other individuals as a matter of course. They always think they are the smartest guy in the room, and nobody else has anything worthwhile to say or any relevant experinces.

Whereas people who abhore humanity, avoid crowds, and generally distrust society tend to be the nicest individuals who get along well with others on a one-on-one basis, and are willing to listen respectfully to people they disagree with.

So brave of her? I mean she is surrounded by the rich, so they booed her message, threw stuff, had her removed. oh they applauded and smiled. Sounds like someone is being conned, probably anyone who believes that message.
