Not just the murders but BLM/Antifa terrorism and the wave of thefts in places like San Francisco that have caused hundreds of stores there to close are ongoing problems. The biased media don't cover them as news for the same reason the biased police and prosecutors won't do their job and stop them: they want civilization destroyed.

@NicoleK: The Muslim Berbers, Arabs, and Turks also raided European coasts and enslaved people whiter than them, until they learned that each slave raid on whites would bring a punitive invasion by the far more advanced navies of Europe and the USA.

If Nigeria (for example) could and would periodically send an army across the Sahara and through Mauritania, freeing slaves and hanging their masters, there would be a rapid cultural change. But no sub-Saharan African nation is capable enough to do this.
