Richard Forno is a Realist, and this is his "Manifesto" -- an excerpt from his new book, Weapons Of Mass Delusion: America's Real National Emergency. It makes more sense than anything I've read or heard in a long time. If he were running -- for governor, for president...for anything -- I'd vote for him in a white-hot second. Sounds like a liberal loony to me. Mainly because I agree with him on almost everything.
("government handouts" i.e. unemployment/welfare was the only area I noticed where we strongly differ)
