Ugh, I hate public proposals like that. The last thing a person needs when contemplating a life-altering decision is a crowd of hooligans jeering and hooting at him/her in the process. Talk about peer pressure. Yeesh.
Not to mention...proposing on the court at a basketball game? Nine kinds of tacky. Of course, as Amy would be the first to point out, most things labelled "romantic" by the masses usually are.
